Today I’m back welcoming you to blogmas day 19 already, can you believe it? My blogging friend Lily and I are going to be showing you our gingerbread recipes. Mine were bars in the end but they tasted soooo nice. Like store bought ones.
Here’s the recipe I used and I added cinnamon that it didn’t call for and traded the baking soda for baking powder! I also made my own syrup so that it lasts longer and stays moist. It was so easy. Here are my step by step pics to how to do it!
For the syrup I took a cup of sugar, one of water and boiled for 3mins. Then I stirred in some more spices (cinnamon, ground ginger and allspice) next I poked my gingerbread and poured in some syrup until it absorbed.
